Experience and Qualifications:
Charles work in the field of architecture began in the 1960s. He returned to the practice of architecture in 2000 following a five-year sabbatical preceded by 18 years as a partner at Winters Barr Truitt Architects. His extensive experience includes Rockford Mass Transit District's downtown facility, the Winnebago County Juvenile Detention Center, the Loves Park Post Office and a series of projects at the Ingersoll Milling Machine Company. Winters Barr Truitt worked with Ingersoll during the late 1980s through the mid 1990s. Charles worked directly with Robert Leach, facilities manager. The work at Ingersoll included the following:
