Title: Interior Designer

Project Assignment:
Meet with client, Coordinate interiors with building design, Prepare construction documents and bid packages

Experience and Qualifications:
For each of our projects, Sharon meets with the users of each space to determine their interior design needs and presents an interiors palette for final approval before bidding. She maintains a working knowledge of the industry’s vast product inventory through research and meeting with product representatives. Her responsibilities include floor patterns, signage, specifications, finish materials research, signage package coordination, and bid package preparation. She also assists with furniture in selection, delivery, and coordinates placement. She recently completed furniture packages for Kishwaukee College for $1.5M and Belvidere Central Middle School for $1.4M.

Recently she was in charge of the interiors at Meridian Junior High School which won an award at November’s IASB show. Sharon has configured both the interiors and furniture for the $20M Kishwaukee College project (Malta, IL) and the new Belvidere Central Middle School (Belvidere, IL). Both of these projects won awards from the Northern IL AIA. She is currently working on the interior design and furnishings for the RMH Main Lobby Renovation. Sharon has been with RLJA for 6 years.
