	A 10-Year Life Safety study resulted in a 9,100 square foot addition and 3,800 square feet of remodeling work to Eastland High School. The addition adds two new classrooms to the number of existing rooms, a science lab and new Media Center with adjoining computer lab, conference room and audio/visual storage room. The old Media Center and computer lab were remodeled into the new music room, practice room and office. The new Media Center including support rooms is twice the square footage of the old Media Center. The existing Music Room now is used as a weight room.
