After the Palatine Township Senior Citizen Council purchased the former administration building of the Palatine School District 15, they enlisted us to help with the complete reconfiguration of the building’s layout and two additions onto the existing building. The work was completed in two phases. The first phase consisted of complete remodeling of almost the entire building as seen on the attached floor plan and an elevator/lobby addition. The second phase was the 2,240 square foot multi-purpose room/kitchen addition on the first floor.

The first floor is organized into the activity rooms and main entrance lobby. The first phase of construction also added the 980 square foot addition that houses the elevator. All of the offices are located on the second floor along with a commons area, library, gift shops and a covered porch. In the center of the building is a courtyard that allows natural light into the inner rooms on the second floor. With dual kitchens located outside both the commons room and the multi-purpose room, two large events can occur at the same time.
