	A major component of the new addition is a 15,681 square foot media center on the northside. The new media center is designed to incorporate use as the community public library, as well as high school student use. Much thought went into serving both the needs of the community and the students, when creating this addition. There is a separate area for meetings and adult reading. There are also two offices for library staff located here. The media center can be left open to the public, while the remaining areas of the school building are closed. There are also two new classrooms, men’s and women’s bathrooms and one new art classroom in this area. The new media center is double the size of the existing 4,500 square foot library that was remodeled into three classrooms (Tech Lab Physical Science and Math). The north addition also includes an Art Room and two General Classrooms. A new two-station Gymnasium, Varsity Lockerroom and additional Bathroom Facilities make up the south addition. The new gym features a stage and folding panel wall allowing the gym to be divided into a theater and PE space. The lobby outside of the gym is accented with a tile flooring pattern. The new main lobby creates a welcome entrance to the building. The flooring is terrazzo, which includes an exciting pattern, complete with the school mascot, the cardinal. This terrazzo pattern is continued in the newly remodeled lower dining area. The curved staircase serves as a design element that is continued in this floor pattern. The entire dining area has been painted with red accents and new lighting has been added, creating an updated look. Other minor remodeling occurred in the existing Lockerrooms, Teacher Workroom, Ag Shop/Metals, Upper Dining, the east Corridor and Kitchen.
